There are many types of addictions and these may include alcohol,
mood-altering drugs, pornography, and sex. Someone experiencing a
problem
with addictions is most likely feeling some or all of the following
symptoms:
Consistent use of addicting substances such as alcohol, drugs,
viewing
pornography and sexual activity.
Inability to stop or cut down on the use despite expressing the
desire to
stop.
Denial that the addiction is a problem.
Blacking out because of the use of drugs and alcohol.
Continue use despite having a knowledge that the addiction is
causing
problems with physical health, financially, vocational, legally,
socially
and with relationships.
Increased tolerance creating a need for more and more of the
addicting
substances.
Physical withdrawal symptoms of shaking, nausea, headaches,
anxiety,
insomnia, sweating, and depression.
Large time investment with the addicting substances.
