Our Philosophy and Advantages That We Offer Our Clients

Overall Philosophy and Standard Operating Procedures

Every internal procedure and resource that we employ in helping our patients, is focused on genuinely helping them to lead a better life.  We help our patients overcome mental health related issues that hold them back from rejoining society as a full and functioning member.

Day-to-day operations are designed to fulfill and maximize that philosophy for every patient. Our personnel not only genuinely care about others and want to help; they also have the operational procedures in place to make that a reality.

Administrative, Facility and Technical Capabilities

In order to live up to our philosophy, we have invested heavily in state-of-the-art computerized practice management software and hardware and continue to invest in our administrative staff through education, accountability and management.

We maintain 3 locations (2 in Weber County and 1 in Box Elder County) for convenient patient access.  The Riverdale office is located near the border with Davis County, 6 minutes from Layton.

Licensed, professional mental health providers

Axis-One currently has 7 licensed mental health professionals on staff (5 Licensed Clinical Social Workers, 1 Licensed Professional Counselor, and one Licensed Psychologist)  This depth of education and experience of our professionals allows us to:

  • Quickly see new patients, and immediately see those in crisis.
  • Assign patients to those professionals who have special education and experience with the particular problem that a patient may be facing.

We have a formal training program that goes beyond required CEU’s for their profession. Formal training of all mental health professionals occurs on a weekly basis, in a two-hour staff meeting, plus individual one-hour supervisory sessions for all employees.

As part of our outreach program, we offer free presentations to employer, school and church groups. Contact Lesa Byrd at (801) 475-0402 for more information.

Spanish interpreters are also available.

If we can help you, or your organization, with any mental health related issues contact us or you can return to the Reception area.
